Have you thought about doing something like this yourself? I couldn’t find Part I but read 2-4; he definitely sounds very self-aware and accepting of himself, his adoptive family, the limits he faces every day. I want to send this to my mother, but doubt she’d read it–part. the part about attending an all-white school in an all-white community…I hope I sound that “fair and balanced” one day!
